Spelling Test Reminder
Monday- Students receive spelling words
Wednesday- Sentences are due
Friday- Spelling Test
Vocabulary-
Unit 3 Vocabulary Words will go out on Wednesday, January 23rd. The test will be on Wednesday, February 6th
{NEW} Reading Log:
Your child will receive a reading log on Tuesday, January 22nd, to track their weekly reading. Your child is expected to read for 20 minutes each night.

In theses sessions , students will learn to manipulate their voice to support meaning in their poetry.

We are launching our STRATEGY UNIT on Enhancing Comprehension Strategies.
Unit Goals: How can we recognize when our comprehension is breaking down?
How can we use fix-up strategies to aid our comprehension?

In these sessions students will learn how to ask quality questions about the text to monitor comprehension
Re-reading:
In these sessions students will practice re-reading a passage to ensure comprehension
